About this Event

Join celebrity DJ, spin instructor & lululemon Ambassador, Shai for the GIRLS GONE ACTIVE Black History Month Celebration!

This fitness festival is a tribute to the richness of Black history, the embodiment of strength, and a shared commitment to African-American health and wellness. Heart disease, cancer and stroke are leading causes of death in African-Americans. The CDC claims that 1 in 3 deaths in the US are due to cardiovascular disease with Black people being at higher risk.  Awareness and action is how we change this.

As a lululemon ambassador, Shai is not just a partner, she’s an extension of the lululemon brand and an inspiration to attendees. It’s important for Shai to share the gift of health, happiness, activity, and wellness with her community.

100 GIRLS & GUYS will come together and participate in the following Group Fitness classes at JOHN REED DTLA:

  • Boost Club:  Let’s work your full body…
